Grace Park is a great actress. Born of Korean parents and raised in the United States and Canada, Grace’s first regular TV role was as a high school student on the Canadian TV show Edgemont.
However, Grace Park has been thrilling science fiction and fantasy fans ever since she guest-starred on Stargate SG-1 as one of several “cadets” who were being trained for Stargate duty. The episode was a failed pilot for a spinoff series.
Fortunately for Grace fans she went on to join the ensemble cast of Ron Moore’s re-imagined Battlestar Galactica and that is where most of her fans discovered her. Grace may have had more speaking roles than any other cast member because she played one of the 12 humanoid Cylon series.
After Battlestar Galactica finished its run Grace went on to do a short stint on The Cleaner but now she is co-starring on CBS’ re-imagined Hawaii Five-O. A whole new legion of Grace Park fans have sprung up across the Web as she has been allowed to strut her stuff on the show in ways most fans have not previously seen before (the occasional semi-nudity on BSG was intentionally obscured).
